The mission of the non-profit Taft Sportsmen's Club is to promote the sport of hunting, fishing, & trap shooting. This club has a long standing commitment to firearms safety training, hunter safety programs, and to teach respect for the environment for the present and future generations. We strive to practice skills necessary to become safe and successful sportsmen. Taft Sportsmen are dedicated to working with our youth to promote good sportsmanship for tomorrow's fishermen and hunters.

December Election Meeting

The December meeting has been moved up one week and will take place on the third Tuesday, December 20th. The meeting has been moved up so members traveling for the holidays may still be able to attend. Remember this is the election meeting, if you want to cast your vote for the 2017 officers be sure to attend.

Shooting Range Clean Up Work Party

There will be a work party December 17th starting at 8am. We will be cleaning up trash, weeds, and trimming the trees at the range. If you haven't got your 2nd work party, this will be the last chance for the year.

Skeet Shooting: Third Sundays

The skeet houses are ready and Bob Morris is going to run skeet shooting on the third Sundays of every month from noon until 5 PM. Come on out for $3 for members and $4 for non-members. See you there!

Range Rules Acknowledgment

In order to ensure that people are safely and properly using the range, all members must submit a Range Rules Acknowledgment before they will be given the new gate combination that takes effect on Saturday July 11, 2015. Once you electronically submit the Range Rules Acknowledgment , we will send you the new gate combination. Please be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly.
