The mission of the non-profit Taft Sportsmen's Club is to promote the sport of hunting, fishing, & trap shooting. This club has a long standing commitment to firearms safety training, hunter safety programs, and to teach respect for the environment for the present and future generations. We strive to practice skills necessary to become safe and successful sportsmen. Taft Sportsmen are dedicated to working with our youth to promote good sportsmanship for tomorrow's fishermen and hunters.

Work party opportunities

We have 2 work party events for the month of February. First is for the Guzzler K-78 and K-108 fencing project, which will take place Saturday February 18th. Everyone is to meet at the Range at 7am – David Hardt is the contact for this work party. Second is a range cleanup scheduled for Saturday February 25th. We will be meeting at the range at 8am for the cleanup.

Skeet Shooting: Third Sundays

The skeet houses are ready and Bob Morris is going to run skeet shooting on the third Sundays of every month from noon until 5 PM. Come on out for $3 for members and $4 for non-members. See you there!

Range Rules Acknowledgment

In order to ensure that people are safely and properly using the range, all members must submit a Range Rules Acknowledgment before they will be given the new gate combination that takes effect on Saturday July 11, 2015. Once you electronically submit the Range Rules Acknowledgment , we will send you the new gate combination. Please be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly.
